Happy Spring!

Posted on March 21st, 2023 by Ron Meyer

It’s now officially spring, although we just had snow last week and the weather hasn’t been too warm. The crocuses and daffodils that were opening at the farm were in a holding pattern, but now are perking up again. Our seed orders have arrived, and we’ll be starting seedlings in the south windows of our packing shed at the end of this week.

This week on the farm stand we have some Yukon Gold potatoes available, plus plenty of eggs. We also have jam—lots of strawberry and a limited amount of raspberry. Plus garlic, local honey, and our own grass-fed beef.

Our next delivery will be on April 6, just in time for Easter. If you want to dye our farm eggs, though, we recommend you buy them this week so they aren’t so fresh. They’ll be easier to peel that way.
