Actually, it really IS spring outside, but the calendar says March 20 is the official first day! At the farm the crocuses and miniature daffodils are blooming, and the full-size daffodils will soon join them. Even the lilac bush is sending out leaves.
Our laying hens are feeling the warmth and loving the extra light, so we have lots of eggs on the farm stand this week. We also have garlic, strawberry and raspberry jam, local honey, and grassfed beef, including ground beef and ground round.
Next delivery will be on March 23.
