Fall Weather

Posted on September 13th, 2022 by Ron Meyer

The recent cooler weather is welcome, but cool nights and lots of rain are having an effect on the gardens. Tomatoes and flowers are dwindling, but beets, peppers, kale, and green onions are doing well. Plus Ron has been digging the first of our sweet potatoes.

We’re in the midst of the fall red raspberry crop, so we have plenty of berries. Also on the farm stand this week: Cortland onions, garlic, green beans, farm eggs, grass-fed beef, fresh herbs, strawberry and raspberry jam, and local honey.
