It’s sweet blueberry season at the farm, and we have plenty of blueberries at our online farm stand this week. Romaine lettuce and salad mix are abundant right now, too, but probably won’t be for long. We’ve reached those hot days of summer when new rows of salad mix have trouble germinating, so we will wait until late summer to plant more. The romaine should be available for a while yet, as it’s more heat resistant.
The sugar snap peas are almost finished, but we have plenty of kale for the first time this week. Zucchini and basil are new on the list, and other items include garlic, red raspberries, green onions, red beets, eggs, local honey, ground beef, fresh herbs, and strawberry jam.
