Strawberries Blooming, Produce Growing Slowly

Posted on May 18th, 2021 by Ron Meyer

Our produce is just getting started at the farm. The extra cold weather last week and the extra wet weather (5 inches of rain!) the week before slowed down the growth and put us behind schedule. We do have a few bunches of radishes and green onions this week, plus fresh herbs and mint tea mix. As always, we have eggs, ground beef, and honey.

In addition, we are offering our certified organic pepper seedlings for your garden. Our pepper plants are ready to go, but the tomatoes are behind. We hope to offer some of those next week.

As of now, the strawberry crop is looking good. We should have strawberries starting in two weeks, unless we have an arctic freeze, Sahara drought, or biblical flood!
