Hello Friends!
We're so excited to see you at the Westside Farmers Market! For folks who are new this week you can find us under the blue tent, just come up and introduce yourself and we'll have your share bagged up and ready to go for you :)
Things on the farm are BUSY as we're planting, harvesting, weeding, and seeding. It's been a pretty dry and hot spring/early summer, and that's had it's own set of challenges trying to grow food, especially organically. It's a great environment for lots of pests, and has the deer testing our fence to try to get to the good greens inside. Despite all that things on the farm are starting to look like summer. Our tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, squash, tomatillos, and greens are all growing and the flowers are starting to form buds and open up.
We're excited for a great season this year and can't wait to meet the new faces at the market!
