Summer weather brings out the flowers.

Happy Holiday Weekend,

I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July. All of us at the farm hustled out the work in the morning and then took some time to eat and have fun together. It is good to take a moment to reflect on the accomplishments of the farm and then to eat the bounty.

I love this time of year as more and more variety of crops are ready. My grocery shopping list drops and eat fresher and better at every meal. Now we are going to start seeing the first little tastes of the summer crops as the varieties and quantities increase. Before you know it full meals can be created with your farm share. This sounds like heaven to me.

This week will have a few new items including carrots and the first of our summer squash.

This week we have flower bunches for sale. These farmer bunches consist of Bachelor Buttons, Zinnia's and Cosmos and will be delivered with your CSA Share.

------- FRUIT ALERT --------

We are still a few weeks away from the beginning of our regularly scheduled fruit shares. The fruit season is looking to be amazing and I can't wait to taste the sweetness of Colorado. I have access to organic Western Slope Cherries starting in a week and I would like to get a sense of how much I should order. If you are interested in adding Cherries to share, please let me know by responding to the email. Then I will make sure to have enough harvested and sent to the farm for everyone.

Thank you for being a part of our farm.
