This week will be the first CSA share of the season! We've got lots of tasty, beautiful and nutritious spring food headed your way.
We are happy to have found some FOR REAL biodegradable plastic bags to hold your shares this year. These are not the typical "bio plastic", which require composting in commercial facilities under special conditions to actually break down. These bags will break down in a regular landfill. Please continue to reuse them if you can, but just wanted you to know these will not be contributing to the literal mountains of plastic waste that is filling vast expanses of our earth and oceans.
Don't forget you've got until Thursday morning at 6 am to make changes to your share. You can swap or purchase extras based on what's available. You can be on the lookout for this email with your share contents by Monday afternoon each week.
