POTATOES! Our potatoes are an heirloom variety called Kennebec. Russets are from Idaho, Kennebecs are much more compatible with east coast weather. They are thin-skinned and buttery, enjoy them all the ways you like to eat potatoes.

DIGGING POTATOES--10am Friday August 11

It's like treasure hunting. Get your hands in the dirt! Join us to dig the taters.

FALL SHARES ARE AVAILABLE

Extend your CSA share into October and November by signing up for our Fall Extension Share. Sign up soon please--We need to know how many families we are growing for, as we start the plantings now for fall harvest. Fall greens are usually the best of all year, as the weather cools and the bugs hide. Broccoli and cauliflower are in the works! Potatoes, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, onions, garlic. Harvests continue until the week before Thanksgiving, so you will be set with farm goods for your harvest meal.  Go to your harvie profile or www.houseinthewoods.com (click on Join Our CSA) to find fall extension options.
