What's Growing On?

Are you loving fall greens?? They are all flowing now, a bountiful harvest. The bok choy in particular has been mild and huge. We trialed a new variety and I love it. Eat the thick crunchy stalks like celery! They make fun edible spoons too. We have lots of lovely turnips and we have beets! Gold beets! Shred them raw on top of salad or cook them for hot or cold dishes. I love beets cooked then chilled and tossed with honey and balsamic vinegar.

Fall Share

Notice we have less customers for fall share? This is by design. This is only our second year offering fall share, so it is a test model. But we are likely to keep it a smaller group than summer share.

Swapping Items

Remember...the bins are filled based on the items on your list. Please follow your list or you will be shorting someone else's items, particularly for greens. You can customize your list online Mon-Tues. If you really want to swap something during pickup, please choose potatoes, sweet potatoes or butternut squash, as these bins are not counted items.
