Happy May Everyone!
May is an exciting time on the farm. Our gardens are suddenly growing FAST and we expect to have lots of variety very soon. This week, we welcome back everyone's favourite salad mix as well as some herbs, hardy greens and our oh so beautiful red veined sorrel.
This weekend is the first weekend of the 2024 Brockville Farmers Market season. We are excited to see many of you again for market pick ups. We always love having a chance to chat and to hear your feedback.
We are trying a few new things at the market this year. We had lots of requests for more of our pasture raised meats last year but found it difficult to estimate how much to bring without having a freezer to store it in. This year we will bring a freezer with us and will have lots of options to choose from.
Isaac will join us at the market again. He is going to start the year with a wood fired pizza stand. He will have weekly flavours featuring seasonal ingredients, freshly harvested from the farm. This week we will be featuring wild ramp pesto and gourmet mushrooms.
