Farm Happenings for July 6-8, 2023

Posted on July 1st, 2023 by Greg Stainton

Hello Harmony Farm Members!

We have lots of selection for you again this week.  The items that we have an abundance of are at the top of our list so they are more likely to make it into your basket.  Some things are in short supply (like our organic strawberries) so there are not enough for everyone (there will be next year!).  They are just so good that we included them in the farm share item list but they won't show up in your basket unless you swap them in or add them on so that everyone can have a chance at them! As always, you can swap and add until you are satisfied with your basket:).

We are starting to see some different varieties of our heirloom tomatoes ripening now (like the Cherokee Green in the photo).  If you see one of these in your bag, rest assured it is ripe but maybe don't tell your family so that you can eat it in secret (they are our absolute favorite!).

The weeds are particularly thick right now so we will be especially happy to welcome Vince and Morgan, the latest additions to our Harmony Farm Weed Warrior crew, on Monday.

Have a great week!

Kate and Greg.
