Our Sunday Pickup Spot is Different This Week!! We will be in the driveway at 584 Stokeswood - right next to the back market entrance.
Apparently someone paid full price for a private event in the market space, so we got bumped. C'est la vie. We've built some good buzz with the farm stand and mini Sunday markets this year, so hopefully next year we'll be able to get formal enough to pay on a sliding scale for the space and not get bumped out because CFM thinks they need the money.
In other news, our Steward crowd funded loan got approved, so look for that to be launching (hopefully!) by the end of this week! It looks like I'll be raising $60,000 to cover a deer fence, bringing in several hundred yards of compost, a water meter, walk in cooler and security lighting. I'm nervous to be asking for so much right now, but it'll be repaid with 8% interest over the next 5 years, and this past year has taught me that so many people value what I do... If the average stock market return is 7%, hopefully enough people will see this as something worth supporting that could provide a slightly better return than the stock market.
