Quick turnaround this week!

Posted on June 25th, 2020 by Mike Nolan

Hi Farm Pickup Members!

It came to our attention this morning that we had a technical error this week which caused the farm pickup shares not to be created. We're launching the customization period right now for your order to be picked up tomorrow! I apologize for the inconvenience and the quick turnaround time. You can make changes to your share today and tonight. The cutoff time is set for 2AM Friday morning, so we have time to harvest fresh and pack boxes for you.

Thanks so much for your understanding! It means a lot to know that you all joined the CSA not only to have great local food, but also to support a great local farm, even when their manager makes a dumb mistake... ;-)

Notes + Reminders

  • Fresh Bread this week: One of our amazing volunteers has a small bakery, and is baking a few loaves of sourdough bread FRESH on Friday morning for us! Available for purchase as extras while you're customizing.
  • Milk bottle returns: I was reminded this week that sharpie is the best marker to use on milk bottles! Water-soluble and dry erase markers sweat off. So don't be shy, go ahead and use sharpie to write your name on bottles, then return CLEAN + LABELED bottles to the pickup location, so we can count your returns. Thank you!
  • Backyard Chickens for sale! We have hy-line chickens for sale, $20 each. Hy-lines are one of the best breeds for keeping in the yard, as they're friendly and very productive. They're 14 weeks old, and in just a few weeks they'll start laying delicious brown eggs every day. I sent a separate email with all the details, but if you don't see it and you want more info, let us know! Email earthspringcsa@gmail.com or call/text Mike at 717-805-7778 to order.

Thanks again, and please let me know if I can help with anything as you get your order finalized today.

Be well,

Morgan
