Farm Share Week 12

Hope you are enjoying the day as much as Aaron.  Try enjoying a summer day laying on a blanket in the grass between the greenhouses while eating a snack of a pepper and cherry tomato sandwich.  We learn 'em right here on the farm!

Enclosed in your box this week is a surprise from Clean Label Kitchen.  They were established in 2014 as a bake-to-order bakery. Located in Barron, WI.  Their goal is to provide quality products without using any preservatives, conditioners, or additives of any kind.  They use the same simple ingredients that were used in your grandparent's days:  milk, unbleached flours, honey, vegetable oil, salt and yeast.  Some of their breads use herbs, spices, cheeses, dried fruits, seeds, grains, even potatoes to achieve different flavors and textures.  The bread you are to receive is Buttermilk White, their most popular bread for sandwiches, buns, and dinner rolls.  

Sorry this went out late today, the person that was to water all the greenhouses was a no show.  The good part was, we received company!
