We hope everyone is enjoying their veggies and other delicious goodies from Cherry Valley Organics!  We are so happy to have you as farm share members this season.  We know you have a lot of choices about where to purchase food, and it means everything to us and our small business partners that you have chosen to support our farms.  Thank you!

Just one more week of our Farm Partner August Promo!!

Our Farm Partners so appreciate your support!

We are so appreciative in fact, that we decided to do another promo for the month of August!  For each "Extras" purchase that you make during the month of August, you be entered in a drawing for prizes at the end of the month!  Prizes will include free flower bouquets, CVO product sampler sets, houseplant collections and more!

How It Works:

Let's say that this week, you purchase a Primrose Farm Red Raspberry Jam, a Paul Family Farms Maple Syrup, and CRO Potatoes.  Your name goes into our secret drawing hat three times!  We'll do this every week until the end of August, and then draw our lucky winners from the hat!  Prizes will be included with your September shares!

The more items you buy, the more chances you have to win!  It's time to stock up!  Last chance to enter this week!

Updates from the Farm

I saw someone referring to this August as "Hot Farmer Summer"... how true!  We just can't wait for the heat and humidity to break, and we hope that is just a few more days away.  We continue to struggle with drying our herb crops, and getting everything harvested before the intense heat of the day.  Challenges abound, but we all agree that the biggest challenge is mental.  It seems like this humidity just sucks away all of your brain power and memory, and it takes so much energy to stay focused.  Crazy...

Nonetheless, being the optimistic farmers that we are, we know that changing weather is imminent.  We are excited for the start of ground cherries this week - we hope you enjoy these little fruits!  This week, we'll be harvesting the rest of the winter squash and starting to distribute them in the next few weeks.  Lettuce and/or salad mix will also be back next week.

Have a great week everyone, and thank you again for being a farm share member this season!!
