Farm Partner Promo for August

Our Farm Partners so appreciate your support!

We are so appreciative in fact, that we decided to do another promo for the month of August!  For each "Extras" purchase that you make during the month of August, you be entered in a drawing for prizes at the end of the month!  Prizes will include free flower bouquets, CVO product sampler sets, houseplant collections and more!

How It Works:

Let's say that this week, you purchase a Primrose Farm Red Raspberry Jam, a Paul Family Farms Maple Syrup, and CRO Purple Beans.  Your name goes into our secret drawing hat three times!  We'll do this every week until the end of August, and then draw our lucky winners from the hat!  Prizes will be included with your September shares!

The more items you buy, the more chances you have to win!  It's time to stock up!  Only 1.5 weeks left to enter!

Updates from the Farm

Well, we know we are not the only ones who are tired of this humidity.  This past week was another rough one, but we are hanging in there because we know fall is right around the corner!  Did we mention that to be successful in farming, you really need to have a "glass half full"  attitude...pretty much always.  We have also been getting some much needed rain, but now it needs to stop. :-)  The difficulties right now are endless - we have some standing water in the fields, and that means drowning crops.  We have tomatoes splitting from too much water, and it seems like a constant race to get crops out of the field before the next downpour.  The humidity also makes it very difficult to dry our tea herbs, onions, and flowers, meaning crop loss.  We see high temps with less chance of rain for the coming week so hopefully, that will hold true.

Up this week, more racing around harvesting and more seeding of fall crops.  Typical August on the farm.  We hope to have the salad mix and head lettuce available again within 2 weeks!

Have a great week everyone, and thank you again for being a farm share member this season!!
