Growing up, every Spring and again in the Summer, we had a little thing that my dad called "Tater Camp." In the Spring it was a one day event when we planted potatoes, and in the Summer it was a week long event when we dug them up. Next week, Tater Camp is happening here on the farm if it dries out. This means that we will start planting potatoes. We will spend an entire day prepping and planting seed potatoes. Once the potatoes are in, we will get as many tomatoes in the greenhouses as possible before we transplant our Brassica family crops (Broccoli, Kales and such) in the fields. Tater camp is the kick off event of the season, and it is here!
