Welcome to the Ashbourne Farm Stand. Below you will find a list of what is being offered for April 30, 2020. All orders must be placed by noon on Monday.

Next week’s offerings from our culinary team:

Entrée: Black Hawk Farms Oxtail Lasagna Rollatini, Whipped Ricotta, Parmigiano Reggaino, Kale, Roasted Mushrooms and Charred Onions. Served with Garlic Bread. Serves 6.

Salad: Romaine, Farm Vegetables, House Cured Ramp Pepperoni, Fresh Mozzarella Prosecco Vinaigrette. Serves 6.

Soup: Tuscan White Bean Soup with Roasted Peppers and Ramp Pesto (Gluten Free & Vegetarian) Serves 6.

Sourdough Bread

Cheese:

  • Capriole O’banon: This cheese has a fresh, light, citrusy taste balanced by the sweetness and delicate flavor of goat’s milk then wrapped in chestnut leaves and soaked in Woodford Reserve Bourbon.
  • Kenny’s Kentucky Rose: A very simple gently pressed farmhouse-style cheese with a tiny kiss of Roquefort, just enough to give it a floral and earthy note on the rind. 
  • Kenny’s Ted: A white cheddar aged in our bleu cave. The result is a well-balanced cheddar with some fruity notes on the nose. As you work your way toward the rind all of that earthy saltiness continues to deepen.
