Farm Happenings for August 2, 2022

I guess you could say these are the dog days of summer.  Its a love hate relationship for me.  I love the warmth and the long sunny days, but sweating for 12 hours in a row gets a little old sometimes.  

Farm Happenings:

  • Sweet corn is rolling in!
  • We planted sprouts, kale, broccoli, cauliflower
  • Lucky we got rain the other week, other farms weren't as lucky and they are in serious drought.

August is here this week, I know I can't believe it!  The days just fly by now and we all need to stop every once in a while and take a deep breath (I need to take my own advice more).
