Happy Halloween! Yup, October is coming to an end and November is here! We battled through out break downs and almost finished digging potatoes before the big 5 inch rain we got this week. We got out in the field today and made a push to finish but we got stuck a few times and ran out of daylight. We only have about 2 acres to go so id say we are on the home stretch.
I will be sending out an email Saturday or Sunday regarding Turkeys. These are pasture raised heritage breed turkeys from a small family farm in New Jersey. The cost will be $6 per pound and the sizes will be on a sliding scale from 10-12, 12-14, 14-16, 16-18, 18-20. I have to place the order by next weekend the latest. We are excited for this partnership as we get to support a fellow small farmer, know who raised the birds, food security, and enjoy the real taste of a turkey, so stay tuned for more info!
