Happy September eating everyone! We're happy to announce that carrots are back on the menu and that there are finally enough heirloom tomatoes to go around. We really recommend the escarole and Napa cabbage. We've got a great green leaf lettuce (think cross of romaine and ice berg) to go with those delicious BLT sandwiches. The tea offering of the week is "Heart Song Herbal Infusion" with Hawthorn Berries, Cacao Nibs, Rose Petals, Jasmine Blossoms, Rose Hips, Damiana, Oatstraw, Cardamom, Vanilla Bean. The Monteillet Fromagerie is recommending the Provencal chees with rosemary infused olive oil and pink pepper berries. No potatoes this week- we're too busy digging the last of them out of the field to take the time to wash any. But rest assured, we've got your spuds covered in to winter. Today's fingerling harvest looked mighty fine, so those will be offered next week.
