The cooler is full this week. We've packed it with lots of sunflowers in bloom, and cabbage and lettuce that have headed up and won't hold outside in the heat. The other exciting event of the week is the installation of a 2nd walk in cooler. This smaller cooler will allow us to separate vegetables from flowers, be used for orchard fruit for future abundance, as well as store crops into the fall and winter for more year round eating. With the full solar installation on the barn roof that went live in February 2020, all the power to keep your food and flowers cool is generated on farm.
