Well, the Farm got nipped by a little frost on Friday and Sunday of last week. The average/normal first frost date for us here in Central Iowa is typically around October 15th. Like we've all experienced, there has been nothing really average and/or normal about this year : ).
We were able to pick a lot of tomatoes last Friday so we should still all be able to enjoy them this week! The Regular Season is starting to wrap up so now is the time to return any of the yellow harvest crates if you have any laying around your house. Stay tuned for some announcements regarding the Fall Share.
