There's rarely a week that isn't busy here on the farm, but this week has felt especially busy and tiring. This week, we raced the rain to get beds prepared in the field for some of the earliest plantings, worked to renovate our old hen shelter to prepare for the arrival of a new flock of laying hens next week, and continue to transition our high tunnel plantings from cool season greens to space for heat loving peppers, tomatoes, and cukes. By middle of next week we hope to be moving lots of plants from the propagation greenhouse to their summer homes.
