So glad summer is finally here. We are about 3 weeks behind where we usually are
with things to harvest. That makes it really hard!!!! We are busy cutting hay and
all the rain really gave us a beautiful crop this year! Was a blessing in some areas and
not so much in others!!
We are harvesting the chinese cabbage this week. Nice big heads but the grasshoppers are
really liking them. There will be some holes in the outer leaves but won't hurt the leaves.
The greens, chard and kale are looking really good and we are starting to pick peas. Will have
a few zucchini and yellow summer squash also.
