Farm Happenings for August 10, 2021

Posted on August 6th, 2021 by Val Tachenko

We are sure enjoying the cooler temps this week.  Would have liked a little more moisture but we are happy

we got some.

More and more things are getting ready to harvest.  The peppers are starting to size up. Jalapenos and bells this week.

plus a few anaheims and gypsy.

The spring pullets are starting to lay so you will see some little eggs in your egg shares.  Papa was complaining about

them laying on the floor instead of in the nests.  We suggested he should show them how to do it since they were newbies!!!

He didn't think it was as funny as the rest of us!!!

The peaches I used in the fruit shares last week were ripe and i hope didn't smash.  They were so good so I thought I would try it.

If you got some that were not usable, please send me a note and I will credit you for them.  This week we will have pears and apples.

Have a great weekend!!
