Farm Happenings for July 20, 2021

Posted on July 16th, 2021 by Val Tachenko

Things are still hot and dry... guess that is the new normal for this summer!!  The heirloom tomatoes are having a hard time setting fruit in the heat.  The hybrids don't seem

to mind it as bad.  So far I've eaten just about everything I picked.  I did share a few sungold cherries.  This week we will have tomatoes from the Yakima Valley tho'.  Now

you can have a good  ol' tomato sandwich.  We got the garlic dug last week and it is cured and ready for you to use.

We are excited to offer local honey again.  This is a darker wildflower honey.  Great flavor.

The peaches are starting now and the fruit shares will have peaches this week.

Enjoy your weekend
