Farm Happenings for September 28, 2020 week 18 csa

Posted on September 25th, 2020 by Val Tachenko

Things are not slowing down around here!!!  We are busy getting the corn maze and pumpkin patch ready for opening day on Oct. 2.

The deer have enjoyed alot of pumpkins but we are finding some really good ones that they didn't get!!!  Things will be a little different

due to the covid restrictions but we'll still have a fun time.

Some of you never got your cauliflower last week.  We are hoping to have enough ready this week to cover yours from last week and then

the next week everyone will get a chance for them again.  The purple and orange are beautiful!!

Be sure and try roasting your fall veggies.   The delicata are really good just sliced and roasted with olive oil and salt.  Eat the skin and all.

Or roast up and big pan of carrots, beets and onions with some chopped garlic and salt. Can add cabbage slices, or taters too.

Thanks again for supporting our farm and eating local.
