Better Together Farm in Dougherty, Oklahoma is delivering spring this week with 30 lbs of organic carrots. Otherwise, the produce forecast is still GREEN: arugula, baby mustard greens, spinach, lettuce and chard.
We still haven't found asparagus. It's growing, but there's just not enough of it for farms to wholesale it. Spring is late this year, but hopefully if the heat doesn't come on too strong and fast, there will still be time to get our hands on our favorite spring crops.
Speaking of the heat: If you opt for delivery, leave a cooler out for your groceries! Unless, of course, you'll be home, which is always nice, too.
