We have this dream of making so many things in our kitchen that we hardly need to cook at home unless it’s for fun. That’s our dream for you, too. Over the last year, our our kitchen has become one of our top three producers. That doesn’t mean we are buying less from farms - because we use local ingredients, our kitchen can actually drive farm purchasing.
This week we’re featuring our house-made meatballs, made with BF Farms grass-finished beef and Cook’s Venture pastured chicken (adding the chicken makes them a little leaner.) You can’t have meatballs without a great pasta, so we’re also featuring Della Terra fresh pasta.
And speaking of things our kitchen makes for you, call or visit our store to pre-order your Thanksgiving side dishes: 405-231-1919. We won’t be making them available for your grocery box because the timing doesn’t work out right. But we’ll be making cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, and mac and cheese are all available, as well as Forward Foods cheese boxes and baked goods from 30th St. Market.
