Three years ago today we were furiously stocking our Edmond store. Ten years ago we were putting the finishing touches on our OKC store and food hub. BOTH of our stores opened to the public for the first time on October 22, seven years apart!
Our mission has always been to help local farms expand their market and to help customers access local food. Thank you a million times for showing up year after year and making this mission a reality!
Here’s what to expect from our birthday festivities this week:
- On Friday in OKC we’ll be open late (8 p.m.), and we’ll be celebrating with a chili and cornbread dinner, plus free birthday cake made by 30th St. Market! AND Steel and Splinter will be there with their axe and knife throwing trailer (they have some tamer activities for little folks, too.)
- On Saturday in Edmond we’ll have chili and cornbread for sale from 11 - 2, and more free birthday cake from 30th St. Market! AND free pace painting for children!
