Trumpeter Swan Farm CSA News - Summer Season, Week 3, Delivery June 14th thru June 16th
---- Leafy Greens ----
Well, the leafy greens loved last week and are now producing heavily. Should have a bunch of lettuce this week, with some kale, spinach, and swiss chard. With the hot weather incoming though it will be interesting to see how long it lasts. Definitely will be giving them plenty of water to keep them happy.
---- Summer Workers are Back ----
Our high school workers are back for another season at the farm. It is really nice having them here and allows for us to get even more done. It also allows for me to take an evening off every now and then too. They started this week with leafy green harvest and hopefully by the end of this week we might even start them out on doing tomato trellising.
