Trumpeter Swan Farm CSA News - Winter Season, Week 26&27, Delivery November 30 thru December 2
---- Hydroponics ----
We harvested Bok Choi and Green Onions out of our small hydroponic table this week. It is heated in there so we are hoping to keep it producing year-round, which would be amazing. Hydroponics is something that we are looking very seriously at as we move forward towards a more well-rounded all year CSA.
---- Last Field Crops ----
We harvested another round of Brussel Sprouts this week. It is very possible that that could be it for the season. Brussels being so winter hardy are normally the last thing out of the field. That being said it looks like after this week it's going to be eggs, squash, root crops, and leafy green from here on out.
