---- Assorted Herbs ----
This week, we add various herbs to our mix. One of the advantages of Harvie is that we can include herbs in our available product list, and Harvie will distribute those among our members according to their preferences. I'll be watching how this plays out. Hopefully, everyone will get an herb they will be able to use!
---- Harvest Slows ----
We watched with apprehension as the big front swept across Minnesota with a myriad of severe thunderstorm warnings. Fortunately, it mellowed by the time it hit Wright County , and we saw no big winds or hail. Unfortunately, the rain also faded, and we wound up with just a half inch. And that was it for the week. The harvest has slowed due to lack of rain. But, its still coming. Sweet corn, tomatoes and peppers still look nice.
