Howdy All!
What a summer! It has certainly been one of the hottest summers I've ever had to grow in. Fortunately, we have taken the proper steps to keep things alive in this heat. Everything we have in the field is either heat or drought tolerant. This has greatly assisted in mitigating losses due to the conditions. Additionally, we have stored away quite of bit of Spring crops such as our winter squash, potatoes, and onions. All in all, we should be solid for the next 4-6 weeks. Beyond then we will be looking forward to the start of our Fall and Winter crops (and cooler weather). This is always a fun time of the year when we get to comb through the seed catalogs and plan out our fields through next year. As always, thank you for your continued support of our little farm!
