Howdy All,
Hope you are well. It seems as though summer has officially dawned on us, as we've seen hotter temperatures lately. As a result, we have started a regular irrigation schedule to keep the plants happily hydrated. The deer have again found our farm to be a nice place to grab a midnight snack, they especially like new growth of long beans, peas and okra leaves. I think even the deer around here are Aggies because they like the maroon okra better than the green variety. If you pass by the farm you will find 2 new scarecrows made in attempts to deter these critters. We are looking forward to begin harvesting some new late summer crops soon and have started our first succession of fall varieties this week! Stay tuned :)
