This will most likely be the last week for many of the summer crops such as: tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggplant. Get them while they are still here! After this week we will be taking an off week and then back again with a delivery in time for Thanksgiving weekend. By then, our fall spinach and arugula should also be ready!
This week, we have some of our fresh, organic purple grapes available. These are a fleeting treat that can't be missed!
This morning we had our first, very light frost right on schedule. It was light enough that it didn't cause much damage to any crops still in the field. But it won't be much longer before we have a harder freeze that ends many of the crops. Luckily, we have lots of fall veggies in storage and more planted in protected greenhouses and caterpillars to extend the harvest.
