Fall weather has been kind to us which makes hauling in the fall crops easier on us and also extends the harvest of the last of the summer crops, like peppers and eggplant. You will find some peppers and eggplant in the swap area this week and then they will be done. It's been a fabulous season for both of these veggies and we are sad to see them go but a mid-October end is pretty great! And as for the the fall crops, there are a few new fun ones this week! Fall broccoli (and broccoli in general) is tricky for me but we have a great looking crop this year so be sure to look for it in shares this week plus the brussel sprouts are also looking wonderful.
It looks like we will have some extra fall crops at the end of the season so I plan to do a pop-up box delivery or two later in November. I'll send more details later but these boxes will be delivered in just the same way as our regular shares but are available to anyone who wishes to purchase one.
