We were happy to report that after three nights of frost the only damage was some burnt zucchini and basil leaves, nothing sever. With basil being cold sensitive even thou it looked okay after the frosty nights, it has all fallen victim to Downy mildew( we think that's the correct mildew). The basi1 read more »

We watched this pumpkin vine go across the path then up the deer fence. It then made it into an old apple tree, which has been renamed the Pumpkin tree. This week we have added Colored Bull Horn sweet pepper, mustered greens and 1/2lb bags of basil as an option for you pesto lovers. The cukes are all but gone for the season, very sad. They will be replaced with arugula, radishes and spinach. read more »
