Berry Time

Posted on June 20th, 2023 by Ron Meyer

We’re into berries at Strawberry Hill Farm! As the strawberries wind down, we have the summer raspberry crop producing, and blueberries just beginning. This week we’re offering pints of strawberries, red raspberries, and mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, gooseberries). We also have new-season strawberry and raspberry jam. And we have a very limited amount of honeyberry jam. Honeyberries are in the honeysuckle family, with fruits that taste similar to blueberries, but are more tart, making a flavorful jam.

New on the farm stand this week are sugar snap peas (a limited amount). We also have a good supply of mini romaine heads and salad mix, fresh eggs, garlic scapes and garlic heads, kale, fresh herbs, and local honey. Plus our own grass-fed beef—hamburger, steaks and roasts.
