- Remember, you have lots of ways you can modify your share to meet the needs of your family's tastes and busy schedules! Login to your Harvie account anytime to change your delivery date or location, edit your veggie preferences or to add additional contacts so everyone in your family gets important emails from us!
- Remember to store your veggies in the best possible conditions so they last as long as possible! Come as early as you can to your pick up location to reduce the amount of time your veggies are out of refrigeration. Less spoilage means less guilt and less money wasted! After a short vacation to the mountains in New York last week, I have come back to the farm feeling refreshed but also overwhelmed with the workload that has accumulated in just a few days away!
One of the many wonderful things about taking time away from the farm is that it gives us time to reflect on our business in a more strategic way. It is hard to take the time to sit and think big picture when your list of emergencies is never ending, so this time away was the perfect opportunity to think a few months ahead, think about next season and think even bigger than that.
We've got lots of ideas for the CSA our roles on the farm and the crew we would like to have on our team here at Robinette to make it the best it can be!
I'll just be over here dreaming and planting!
