RP-Farm Happenings (Delivery 4 Fall/Winter out of 8)

Farmer Phil and staff are keeping busy on the farm, even in the colder months.

Can you believe... 3,000 pounds of potatoes are headed out this week for a big order to another CSA farmer in Indiana!

Potato season is upon us and we have 50% more potatoes in storage than last year. Praising God for our bumper crop!!

Don't forget potatoes contain plenty of vitamins and minerals and are a type of vegetable that are great to use in recipes and meals during the cooler temperatures.

You'd be surprised to know that potatoes have even more potassium than bananas!

To get their full nutrition, Don’t peel your potatoes. “The skin has half of the potato’s fiber content and many of its nutrients,” says Dr. Dunn.

Still looking for that unique stocking stuffer for a friend, relative or teacher?

Does the Christmas season add extra stress and you need a reward after a job well done?

Have these things on hand to pamper yourself...

Choose a Soothing Goat Milk SOAP PACK. Remember, your skin is your largest organ so feed it well!

Or pick from one of our other local vendors and add GRANOLA and Hand-made PASTA to your Market Box for yourself or a special gift for others.

P.S. GRAB your refer-a-friend link and share the Summer Market Boxes with your friends this holiday season.

* Note: We are planning a webinar on Thursday January 13. Sign up HEREYou will want to join in or get the replay. Build a better box this year with the information learned here.
