Hi friends! Finally we're getting some good rain after an extra dry summer. It's giving lots of things a needed boost and all the seeds we planted last week will be happy to have some extra water.
We dug lots more potatoes this week, my favorite new variety is the huckleberry gold potato. It's blue/purple on the outside and a gorgeous gold on the inside. We've been roasting lots of potatoes together and the huckleberries really stand out with their buttery wonderfulness. I hope you've been enjoying the potatoes as much as we have! It was a real battle to get them to you this year between the lack of water and the dreaded colorado potato beetle trying to eat all the leaves but we're thrilled with how well they did and that we get to share them with you!
