Hi Friends!
Quick note for folks who pick up at the westside farmers market - last week was the final week of the market, but I'll be in the parking lot in our usual spot from 4-6pm with your shares on Tuesday for pick up.
This is the last week of our 2020 season - thank you for sticking it out with us, I truly hope you've enjoyed the vegetables. As the season ends we start to do a lot of reflecting on what went well and what we'll do differently next year and we appreciate the cold quiet mornings as winter gets closer. This week once the shares are delivered we'll be planting garlic and continuing to clean up the farm for next year.
We'll be opening up sign ups for next years shares in November, and will be doing occasional pop up sales through harvie's virtual farm stand during the winter. More details to come but I expect to have lettuce and other greens available as of mid-november. Winter growing is still a bit experimental for me, so as things are available I'll keep you posted by email.
Enjoy your shares this week - since we'll be doing our final cut of field crops most of the leafy greens and mixes will be extra large portions so some of you may have more than one bag at the pick up depending on your shares.
