We are down to our 2nd to last week of veggie deliveries for the season. Always manages to feel like it went by pretty fast, but April also feels like a VERY long time ago!
This week, we are taking preorders for more tomatoes from Big Rock Ranch in 100 Mile, and potatoes and garlic from Buck Ridge Ranch on West Fraser. This will be the LAST WEEK for these crops, so if you're wanting lots of certified organic tomato sauce to last you through the winter, this is the time! But please note, these crops would be paid for this week, but included in your OCTOBER 4th shares, as we will not be getting them until Friday the 30th.
We've also got some of Fraserbench Farm's beauty Mount Royal red plums ready this week, and Big Fire Farm's watermelons! Doesn't get much better than that this time of year.
LAST TUESDAY FARMERS MARKET SEPT 27th
The last Tuesday market is also coming up this week, so this will be our last Tuesday market pick-up. For our last shares of the season (OCT 4th) Mint & Lime has kindly offered to host ALL veggie box pick-ups that day. I will add another reminder in the next customization email for that week, but just a heads up. So for Sept 27th, market pick-ups are still on from 2-7pm in Kiwanis Park.
