Hi there CSA Members,
Well, we've made it to September! At the farm, we're through with seeding and planting in the field. Time to let it grow and harvest, harvest, harvest. This week's box brings some favorites back along with a new item; shishito peppers. We ended up having a really rough pepper year at the farm; between some slugs that attacked multiple rounds of starts and some irrigation woes at the early part of the season, Pink Moon Farm peppers are a miss for 2021. However, we have a deep and sweet network of folks around us--and I wanted to give you all a shot at these. Thank Local Color Farm and Fiber for peppers this week!
As a reminder for Seattle folks, the week after next, we'll be doing a Wednesday pick up on September 8th because of Gay City's office closure.
