It is really feeling like fall here, our winter squash is coming in, the dahlia patch is in full bloom, and the field corn is about ready to harvest. On top of all that excitement, we spent the other weekend out on the Chesapeake Bay with some new farmer friends of ours, learning all about their sustainable seafood operation. We are so excited to carry Kellum's Seafood, a family farm out in Irvington, VA. We have their bay scallops (frozen, 1lb) and the taste is unrivaled. I am not a seafood connoisseur but I love them and I love that they are local! We won't always have the scallops so scoop up a pack while we have them and give them a try!
