Farm Happenings for the week of February 4, 2023

Posted on January 31st, 2023 by Jessica Foote

Well Hello Winter CSA Members,

This basket is our last till the Spring CSA that starts in March! If you want to sign up for the Spring basket program now I think it is open, but I honestly can't remember! Only so much seems to be recalled at a time in this brain of mine. If it is open and you are planning on signing up, YES, we will be offering drop off at the market and in Prince Albert at 255 Union Avenue, I have to over rider the Harvie program & write Saturday to get our deliveries to work! Tech is great till it doesn't do what you want it to do!

I thank you so much for your support all Winter! We have tried very hard to keep the variety by teaming up with Prima Orchard, Palatine, and our other fellow local farmers to fill in the blanks. I hope you enjoyed and please write in some feedback via email, or leave us a note, "positive or negative" from feedback we learn!

In the gap between CSA programs we will continue to run our Bi-weekly Online Mini Markets! There you can order our veg and many other delicious local goods! For instance,  The Foodshops -chicken pot pies made from our veg and stew hens. Of which I just finished scarfing back for breakfast at 3am because they are a great comfort food when your tech isn't behaving!!! (Tangent I know, thankfully the store has actually decided to open this time!)

Here is the link if you want to check it out!

I have added some 5lbs bags of #2 carrots at 5$ if you are wanting to stock up, as well as some 5lbs bags of potatoes at a wholesale price!

From the busy poster (It was supposed to be at the bottom of the page but I couldn't get it to move!) that Abbie made you can see the kids are up to no good again! Their most recent project or undertaking they have is a mini photo shoot with the animals for Valentines day! It is being done by a professional photographer, one of our friends Ashley Marie Photography! Ashley does an amazing job, and is the one who captures our team photos & head shots every year! If you want to sign up for this Saturday follow the link below!
