Hello All,
Week number three of the Spring CSA Mini Basket, is already upon us! We have lots of greens in store, as well as scallions, ramps, popcorn, cornmeal, frozen garlic puree, just to name a few. I also went on a road trip and got a restock of sweet potatoes from my friend Vernon at Bowmans Organic Produce. Which is quite exciting, his products are beautiful, and I am so glad we are able to work together.
On the farm we have gotten our first seeding in the ground, and we are hoping to get a bunch of transplanting in this week. We are going to be seeding the cucurbits this week; watermelon, squash, cucumbers, and zucchini. Spring clean up is well under way, and wood still needs to be cut, but we are getting things done.
